Dr. David Anderson treats most orthopedic problems and has special
interests in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery. He graduated from Barrington High School and
his interest in sports medicine began to develop. He went on to graduate from the University of
Minnesota where he was a starting pitcher for the Golden Gopher Baseball Team. At Rush
Medical College in Chicago he graduated in the top 5% of his class and was a member of
the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. His Orthopedic Internship and Residency at
Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center prepared him for a career in Orthopedic
Surgery. He then completed the prestigious Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery
Fellowship at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.
He is a board certified orthopedic surgeon who practiced in Indiana and Illinois before coming home
to Barrington to join our practice. His expertise and his talents are a great addition to Lake Cook
Orthopedic Associates. We welcome David and his family.
