Treatment Philosophy
I believe in first educating my patients about their problems so that they can
actively participate in the decision mailing about their own care. I am a strong
believer in conservative care. If surgery is eventually required, I will thoroughly
evaluate the patient and design the most appropriate procedure for that patient.
I will then follow that patient closely in the post-op period to ensure a good
outcome.
Dr. Perlmutter lives in Glencoe, Illinois with his wife, Beth, and three sons,
Zachary, Isaac, and Joshua. He enjoys coaching his sons in sports, riding his
bicycle, skiing, and playing golf and tennis. He also enjoys music and the cultural
treasures that are offered by the City of Chicago.
